Iran threatens Trump with ‘new surprises’ as US President reveals ‘me and Ayatollah’ plan | World | News

Iran has issued a chilling threat against Donald Trump, just hours after he appeared to ease tensions with the regime and called off immediate strikes on the country’s power plants. The US President declared a five-day pause on the ongoing military strikes as he wrote on his Truth Social that the US and Iran “have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East”.

The announcement came hours after he issued a 48-hour ultimatum for Iran to fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday. However, according to the new reports, senior officials from Iran are reportedly planning “new surprises” for the US President in the next few days. Tasnim News Agency claimed that a military official from Iran said: “Trump sees all his military options in the failed war as defeated and is thinking of a way out of the deadlock; for this reason, he has dragged the war from his fleeing warships into social networks.”

The official claimed: “Contrary to Trump’s empty promises, Iran has prepared surprises for the coming days that will reveal the outcome of the war more clearly than ever.”
