I first wrote about the daycare fraud for City Journal in the 2018 column “Mogadishu, Minnesota,” and then again this year in the Imprimis essay “Learning From Minnesota’s Somali Fraud Scandal.” I believe the Star Tribune’s contribution to this particular story has been to downplay it.
