Trump Warns Iran They’ve Got 48 Hours to Open Hormuz or Face Hell Raining Down – RedState

President Trump posted a blunt reminder to the Iranian regime on Saturday, reminding them that the clock is rapidly running out on a deadline he previously set for Tehran to reach a deal to end the war or fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump took to his Truth Social media platform to suggest the clock is ticking down. And they’d better believe he’s about to deliver on his warning to act or face the consequences.

“Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT,” he openly wondered. “Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign (sic) down on them.”

“Glory be to GOD!”

The President has made clear he has no intention of extending the timeline any further. The critical waterway must be restored without threats or delays, period.

Ahead of Address to Nation, Trump Hints Iran May Be Ready to Fold

President Trump has insisted any potential deal with Iran must include the regime’s complete abandonment of its nuclear weapons ambitions — including a permanent end to all uranium enrichment — along with major curbs on its ballistic missile program and destabilizing regional proxy activities.

Saturday’s Truth Social warning comes amid heightened tensions, as U.S. search-and-rescue operations continue for the missing crew member of an F-15E Strike Eagle shot down over Iran a day earlier. Trump did not reference the downed fighter jet or the ongoing recovery efforts in his post.

A second American combat aircraft, an A-10 Warthog attack jet, crashed near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday after coming under enemy fire during operations related to the search. The lone pilot in that incident successfully ejected and was quickly recovered by U.S. forces.

Iran seems unlikely to cede to Trump’s demands or deadlines, with Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi previously stating that they would be perfectly content to fight on.

“You cannot speak to the people of Iran in the language of threats and deadlines,” he said. “We do not set any deadline for defending ourselves.”

Earlier this week, President Trump posted a video reminder of American military might, with a dramatic clip of Iran’s tallest bridge collapsing in ruins after a strike. More of this seems to be in store if the deadline passes.

Trump, in a primetime address to the nation on Wednesday, outlined the progress of the ongoing U.S. military campaign against Iran and predicted more Hell to come if they do not bend to his demands.

“Very shortly, we are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks,” the President said. “We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Age where they belong.”

That’s all just a nicer way of Trump saying, in his best Samuel L. Jackson voice, “tick tock …”

Well, you know the rest.

Editor’s Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
