Self-deportation is the only practical way to deal with more than 10 million illegal immigrants, and the federal bureaucracy is similar. It is hard to fire government employees, so getting them to quit can be an optimal solution. That is what is happening in the Department of Justice:

The Civil Rights Division has been a disgraceful haven for far-left activists. I am a fan of Harmeet Dillon, a real lawyer. You can only imagine the horror with which her appointment as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights was greeted by that organization’s staff.
So, half the lawyers have resigned? That’s a good start.
