CNN, once a proud network that redefined the news industry, has become a joke over the past decade (or more) and is now just a parade of extremist journalists peddling their woke values. Kentucky Republican Scott Jennings is one of the few voices of reason at the outlet, but as we’ve reported, he may be taking his talents elsewhere in the future. I mean, how long can you hang around in Crazytown?
But even for CNN, this exchange was an 11 on the Nutso Scale. The episode featured virulent anti-everything-normal “The View” host contributor Ana Navarro, who spews division and hate as if she’s a fire-breather at a carnival show.

“Last time I checked, I’m black. You’re not.” Hoo boy, it’s getting hot in there. My favorite part about the whole exchange is watching anchor Abby Phillip’s face as she is forced to cut to commercial. It reminds me of those terrific Southwest Airlines commercials of yore: “Want to get away?”

If you’re wondering who Shermichael Singleton is, he’s a political consultant, writer and commentator who has worked for former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, 2008/2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney, and renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson’s 2018 campaign for the Oval Office. Although Navarro shrieked and performed her usual histrionic act, I think Shermichael’s was the better argument.
Illegal aliens entering this country knowingly breaking the law is a whole lot different than African Americans being forcefully taken here centuries ago—they’re two completely different matters.
As in most of the broadcasts Ana Navarro appears in, she comes across as a dim-witted force of hate and division. Her “View” co-hosts like the gas-emitting Whoopi Goldberg aren’t much better, but it’s sort of shocking that ABC News feels the need to keep airing the toxic morning show and its hate-mongering output even as their ratings plummet.
There is another classic commercial that comes to mind: Mastercard’s “priceless campaign.” The look on Abby Phillip’s face as she just wanted to “get away” was absolutely in the “priceless” category.
