I’m so old, I can remember when people thought $100 billion was a lot of money. But not today. “Green” energy may be a bigger source of corruption than anything else. We have written about the EPA scandal, where, in the dying days of the Biden Administration, many billions of dollars went out the door to left-wing nonprofits–like throwing gold bars off the Titanic, as one EPA official said. This was when Stacey Abrams’ nonprofit, which had just been set up and had not conducted any business, got $2 billion, basically as a political slush fund.
Here, Energy Secretary Chris Wright addresses a different but related scandal. The Department of Energy, like the EPA, made $93 billion in loans after President Trump’s election, more than $1 billion per day, and vastly more than the total it had paid out in the preceding years:

The Trump administration is trying to get some of this money back.
The Biden Administration was likely the most corrupt in American history, and “green” energy is probably the center of more corruption than anything else.
