Celebrity chef Jameson Stocks has reinforced his criticism of Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking show during an interview with Lee Anderson on GB News. The 41-year-old chef, who once cooked for King Charles, doubled down on his previous comments about the Duchess of Sussex’s series “With Love, Meghan”.
Stocks told GB News: “I would cook Meghan something she has done on her TV show but do it in the proper way. I was asked by a national newspaper to review the show and watch it.”
The chef has previously described the show as “terrible” and “hard to watch”, sparking controversy with his outspoken views on the Netflix production.
In his latest criticism, Stocks took aim at the show’s production quality, claiming: “You don’t have to be a professional chef to know half of it was edited out and smudged a little bit.”

He went further in his condemnation, stating: “It is what it is, I don’t have any ill-feeling towards her, but the amount of money she was paid, I think it’s criminal she was allowed to do that.”
The chef has also questioned Meghan’s culinary credentials, telling MailOnline: “How can she get all this money from Netflix? I don’t think she can cook and I don’t think she should be teaching people to cook either.”

Stocks has claimed that his criticism of Meghan’s show resulted in legal action from Netflix. He told MailOnline: “I got a lawyer’s letter from Netflix after I spoke out against her, warning me. I proper p***ed them off. Netflix did not like it and came after me.”
However, the streaming giant has firmly denied these allegations. A Netflix spokesperson told The Independent: “No legal letter was sent to Jameson Stocks from Netflix.”
The chef had previously stated he turned down an opportunity to participate in the show, saying he “didn’t like the idea of me showing her how to do something, and then it kind of being forced and fake.”
Stocks first voiced his criticism of Meghan’s show on GB News in March, suggesting she should “go back to acting” instead. “She’s quite a good actress in real life, or obviously on screen. I think people should just stick to what they do best,” he said.

“With Love, Meghan” forms part of the $100m deal the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made with Netflix in 2020, with a second season reportedly planned for 2026.
