If you happened to swing by President Donald Trump’s account on Truth Social on Saturday morning, you would have been greeted by a torrent of creative videos (some with a level of AI that might cause leftists and their fact checking allies to have a conniption; keep an eye out for the one with rock music blaring). A few, though, were chock full of actual video clips, accompanied by stirring music, and showing the president visiting in the Middle East this week.
Here’s one in particular, that includes a fun musicall dig at the beginning at former President Joe Biden:

And while that one does point to the release of the audio from the Hur interview, and co-authors Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson’s upcoming book on Biden’s failures at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue during his term, the focus is on the wins in Middle East this week for the White House and its diplomatic team.

While it’s only right that much of the oxygen in the news space is being gobbled up by the Biden revelations, there’s an important update on Saturday in the wake of the week’s successes in the Mideast.
Which brings us to another major world conflict that Pres. Trump campaigned on bringing to an end: the Russia-Ukraine war. As my colleague Susie Moore wrote on Friday, Trump had planned to meet in person with Putin and Zelensky during Friday’s talks on a peace deal, but Putin instead sent lower level advisers to the table. By all accounts, the conversations went well between Ukraine and Russia, with the parties agreeing to a prisoner swap.

“I WILL BE SPEAKING, BY TELEPHONE, TO PRESIDENT VLADIMIR PUTIN OF RUSSIA ON MONDAY, AT 10:00 A.M,” he wrote in his inimitable style, continuing with more details on what he expects to talk about with the Russian president.
“THE SUBJECTS OF THE CALL WILL BE, STOPPING THE ‘BLOODBATH’ THAT IS KILLING, ON AVERAGE, MORE THAN 5000 RUSSIAN AND UKRAINIAN SOLDIERS A WEEK, AND TRADE.”
Then he turned to the other facets of the U.S. brokering a peace pact, saying, “I WILL THEN BE SPEAKING TO PRESIDENT ZELENSKYY OF UKRAINE AND THEN, WITH PRESIDENT ZELENSKYY, VARIOUS MEMBERS OF NATO. HOPEFULLY IT WILL BE A PRODUCTIVE DAY, A CEASEFIRE WILL TAKE PLACE, AND THIS VERY VIOLENT WAR, A WAR THAT SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED, WILL END. GOD BLESS US ALL!!!”
Here’s more on where Putin’s and Zelensky’s people left things off, per a source familiar, according to Reuters:
Russian negotiators at the Istanbul peace talks on Friday demanded Ukraine pull its troops out of all Ukrainian regions claimed by Moscow before they would agree to a ceasefire, a senior Ukrainian official familiar with the talks told Reuters.
