A body language has analysed Meghan Markle’s recent displays of love towards Prince Harry – in particular the way she poses in recent pictures alongside her husband. The couple are celebrating seven years of marrriage today, May 19.
Highlighting the popular ‘seven-year itch theory’, which states that some people may experience a decline in satisfaction and potential restlessness around the seven-year mark of their relationship or marriage, body language expert Judi James suggests that Meghan is likely trying to steer away from that. She suggest that she is doing so by gushing even more about her husband – but has compared her poses to “looking like a romantic episode of Suits”.
The Duchess of Sussex, before marrying into the Royal Family, was a successful actress -with her most prominent role as Rachel Zane in Suits.
Speaking to the Express, Ms James said: “Some of her poses look like a romantic episode of Suits. When she kisses Harry at Invictus it is a very performed display, bestowed kiss where she holds his head on place with her hands to press her lips against his in a passionate gesture.”
Discussing Meghan’s poses further, particularly during their recent date night at Beyoncé’s concert, she added: “Her rituals at the Beyonce concert looked emphatic though.
“While Harry grinned in delight from under the brim of her hat, Meghan posed against him like a celebrity rather than a royal, arching her back as she pressed her torso against his and placed a hand of possessive ownership on his chest. Her pose looked flirty and besotted, and she smoldered into the cameras to suggest to the world that she still sees her ‘Fox’ as a great catch.”
Speaking of Meghan and Harry’s appearance in New York City last month, she aded: “Meghan’s signals have shown her stepping up slightly in terms of being more dominant when they are out in public.
“Harry [has been] dubbed the ‘Spare II’ as he hovers around his wife, waiting while she greets hosts first and even, as in this photo, leaving him in her wake as she entered the building.
Harry and Meghan made the decision to step down as senior working royals in early 2020 – shortly moving to the US with their young son.
The couple now live in California, residing in a multi-million pound mansion with their two children – Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3.
