Meghan Markle shares private family pictures to mark wedding anniversary | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has taken to Instagram to celebrate her seventh wedding anniversary to Prince Harry, sharing dozens of family pictures. She shared a mood board filled with pictures of her and her husband, as well as never-before-seen images of their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The message accompanying the post read: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you. Happy anniversary! [love heart emoji].”

Meghan regularly shares pictures of her children since she returned to Instagram at the start of the year, but she always conceals their faces. This is in a bid to protect their privacy.

The last time fans saw a glimpse of the youngsters’ faces was in footage on their Netflix documentary and before that in official images released when they were members of the Royal Family.

Very few pictures of Lilibet looking directly at the camera have been released, although the couple did share a sweet image to mark her first birthday in June 2022.

Among the images were numerous pictures of Meghan and Harry embracing, and one of the duke tenderly cradling the head of one of their children as a swaddled newborn.

There was also a baby scan labelled Archie, a photo of Archie kissing Lili on the forehead, as well as a number of notes including a central one in Meghan’s handwriting reading “Our love story”.

The accompanying music was The Proclaimers’ hit track I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).

Harry wed former Suits actress Meghan at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19 2018.

But the pair stepped away from the working monarchy less than two years later for a new life in the US.
