Vladimir Putin has said ceasefire with Ukraine is “possible” after an informative and useful phone call with US President Donald Trump that lasted two hours.
The Kremlin said that Moscow is ready to work with Ukraine on a memorandum about future peace talks, although both sides must compromise, Russian state media reports.
Putin said: “We’re generally on the right track.”
