On Saturday evening, American Experiment hosted its Annual Dinner at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
Our keynote speaker was CNN’s Scott Jennings, who has become one of conservatism’s most effective spokesmen, especially on social media. I don’t know how many people see him live on CNN–something in the tens of thousands, perhaps. But the next day, millions see his clips on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. Jennings may be the most widely-seen conservative in America today.
His speech was hard-hitting, always engaging, and sometimes hilarious.
We loved having @ScottJenningsKY at our annual gala last Saturday! https://t.co/fsoQVlLfjc

In place of the usual Q and A session following Jennings’ speech, he took a seat at a replica of the set that we use for our popular American Experiment Podcast. Hosts Grace Keating and Kathryn Hinderaker asked Scott some questions, and they played several clips with our familiar “Stop the tape!” theme:
Jennings, a Kentuckian, declined to respond directly when asked whether he will be a candidate to replace Mitch McConnell in the Senate. But I infer from his answer that he likely will be a candidate for the Republican nomination, and will be endorsed by President Trump as such.
