Jordon Hudson, the 24-year-old girlfriend of former NFL coach Bill Belichick, has sparked engagement rumours after being spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring at Raleigh-Durham Airport on Saturday.
The former college cheerleader was travelling from North Carolina, where 73-year-old Belichick is beginning his first season as Tar Heels football coach, back to her native New England.
According to a New York Times report, Hudson has told “at least one person” that she is engaged to the legendary coach. The development marks a new chapter in their controversial relationship, which has attracted significant media attention in recent months.
Hudson was flying from North Carolina back to Boston, as reported by TMZ. While the ring itself doesn’t necessarily confirm an engagement, it has fuelled speculation about the couple’s relationship status.

This isn’t the first time Hudson has been seen with jewellery on her left hand. She was previously snapped wearing a ring on the same finger during a dinner in New Orleans during Super Bowl week.
The sighting comes amid increasing public interest in the relationship between the former college cheerleader and the legendary NFL coach, who has a 49-year age gap between them.
Adding to the speculation, Belichick has renamed his boat from ‘VIII Rings’ to ‘I + VIII Rings’, which many interpret as a nod to a potential union with Hudson.
The original name referenced the eight Super Bowl victories Belichick achieved as a defensive coordinator and head coach with the New York Giants and New England Patriots.

The boat name change, combined with the ring sightings, has fuelled rumours that an official engagement announcement may be forthcoming.
Neither Hudson nor Belichick have publicly confirmed their engagement status, but the mounting evidence has led to increased media scrutiny of their relationship.
Hudson has recently been embroiled in controversy after former ESPN reporter Pablo Torre released new Ring footage showing a shirtless Belichick leaving an Airbnb following a getaway with the influencer in 2023.
Torre also published interviews with the Airbnb owners, who claimed they initially thought Belichick could be a “drug dealer” and Hudson might be an “escort”.
Hudson responded forcefully on social media, accusing Torre of “slander” and “defamation”. In an alleged screenshot of her Instagram story, which has since been removed, she wrote: “Pablo Torre’s ‘findings’ have been nothing short of factually incorrect, slanderous, defamatory and targeted.
“Can y’all stop please giving credibility to this ‘reporter’?”
In another audio clip released by Torre, the Airbnb owner claimed Hudson used a graphic sexual innuendo when they met.
The owner recounted their conversation: “I said, ‘We’re members at the golf course, you should come and play with us. My friends have clubs they can lend you.’ She said she plays and she also said she prefers a men’s senior shaft.”

The female owner also described meeting Hudson after returning from the golf course. When she asked Hudson if she was getting married after inquiring about Danvers, she reportedly replied that she competes in pageants instead.
The controversy extends beyond Torre’s reporting, with reports suggesting Hudson has been “iced out” by Nantucket socialites who remain loyal to Belichick’s former partner, Linda Holliday. Belichick and Holliday, 61, ended their 16-year relationship in September 2023.
According to an incident report published by TMZ, Holliday confronted Hudson at a Christmas party in Nantucket on 6 December where Holliday’s twin daughters, Ashley and Kat Hess, were DJing.
The report claims Holliday was angered by Hudson’s presence, considering it “inappropriate, since the event was widely advertised as a party headlined by her daughters”, and reportedly asked staff to remove Hudson from the venue.
