Yesterday was a daily record in illegal boat crossings for 2025. Border Force vessels and lifeboats were overloaded rescuing migrants and were forced to call on fishing boats to assist and yachts and kayaks.
We thought the numbers were about 1,000, but turns out it was more.
1,194 people crossed illegally via small boat yesterday and it seems the French, who were there to assist in this latest event, simply escorted the boats to the UK even though apparently they can push them back in shallow water or, here’s a thing, take them back to France rather than to the UK.

We cannot sustain this anymore. Getting out of the ECHR will take years. Imagine the objections. The lawyers would have a field day.
The whole thing is a racket, one which was exposed by the Daily Mail who found many so called legal eagles schooling their clients into what to say to bypass or manipulate the system, a system meant to help those in most need that has been turned into a farce, where any Tom, Dick and Harry, and it is mostly men, can abuse its generosity and indeed the generosity of the British tax payer.

There are so many of them coming now, overwhelming the system which is part of the plan, because they know that the stress the UK is being placed under and the highly publicised rush to reduce the backlog, means claims for asylum are being rushed through with very little scrutiny and even if they are denied the system can be abused further with appeals which we, the British taxpayer are forking out for.
I don’t even think leaving the ECHR is the answer anyway.. Why is it that other countries who are members are able to house people in tents like France and Greece and they’re able to interpret the laws in a way that make way more sense than here?

What’s wrong with our politicians, why can’t they get a handle on this? Donald Trump changed things in days, but somehow in this country we don’t seem to be able to do anything about it.
Well I’m fed up with my tax money, and believe you me I pay a lot, going to these people who have arrived via small boat to take advantage of my hard work.
Whilst pensioners, businesses, farmers, working people, the very lifeblood of this country are being made to suffer because of the policies of this government.
These people are fleeing the safety of France.. Why? Because wouldn’t you if you could bung a few thousand to a smuggler, who will put you on perilous but relatively safe journey to the UK, because if you do get in trouble nine out of ten times you’ll be escorted by the authorities to arrive safely in Britain where you can exchange your tent for a hotel room, a flat or even a house, be given three square meals a day, clothes, phone, money and you won’t have to work for at least two years before the Home Office is that far behind.. who wouldn’t?
And if in the very unlikely event you are repeatedly denied entry, just stay here long enough and you’ll be granted leave to remain like Ghanaian Joyce Baidoo who is still here 25 years after her arrival, despite being issued a deportation order in 2007 and convicted of fraud for using false identity documents for which she was imprisoned for ten months. She has won a human rights case to stay in the UK
Yesterday’s arrival numbers takes the total so far this year to more than 14,600, up more than 30 per cent on the same point last year and the highest for the first five months in a year since small boats started crossing in 2018.
This is a national emergency and I for one will not stay silent.
Instead of calling a press conference to talk about Nigel Farage, Keir.. How about you call a press conference now and explain to taxpayer how you plan to put a stop to this £8 million pound a day? An absolute waste of our money.
If you really want to win support, stop obfuscating and stop the boats.
