Princess Lilibet is celebrating her fourth birthday today (Wednesday, June 4) and there is no doubt she will be enjoying her special moments with big brother, Prince Archie, six, and parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The young royal, whose full name is Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born at 11:40 PDT on June 4, 2021, in California, and it is believed she has only visited the UK once.
Since January 2025, and Meghan’s return to social media, fans have seen more pictures and videos of little Lilibet, than her earlier childhood years, as the Sussexes’ concerns for their children’s privacy have somewhat softened. We first saw glimpses of their sweet daughter in clips and stills in the couple’s Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan in 2022, and the family even shared an official picture of Lilibet to mark her first birthday back in 2022.

A photo ‘Petite Lili’ melted hearts when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to share an image of the young royal on their Netflix docuseries titled ‘Harry & Meghan’.
In the cute image, Princess Lilibet’s arms are outstretched and she is wearing a neutral coloured hat and baby-grow. The outfit is embroidered with the words ‘Petit Lili’.
Clips included in the documentary also show the young girl learning how to walk and blowing on candles at her first birthday party.
Lili’s first birthday was celebrated in the UK as it fell in the midst of the long bank holiday weekend celebrating the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The pair welcomed Princess Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, whose names pay tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales and Queen Elizabeth II, on June 4 2021.
In a statement shared a few days later via the website of their organisation, Archewell, the Duke and Duchess said: “On 4 June, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.
“She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.
“Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

In December 2021, Meghan and Harry released a festive photocard which featured Prince Archie and a baby Princess Lilibet dressed in a white gown.

The card was sent by email through the Archewell charity, co-founded by the duke and duchess in 2020.
It was titled “Happy Holidays” and the message read: “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a ‘Mama’ and a ‘Papa’, and Lili made us a family.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry celebrated their daughter Lilibet’s first birthday with the release of an adorable photo.
Lili is seen smiling as she played in the garden of her family’s home in Los Angeles, wearing a blue dress and a white lace bow in her bright red hair.
Close family friend and guest Misan Harriman who attended Lilibet’s party with his wife and children took the “candid, spontaneous photograph that the Duke and Duchess are pleased to share,” a spokesperson added.
