Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte have sparked fan frenzy today at Trooping The Colour by stepping out in co-ordinated outfits. The Princess of Wales, 43, has been seen in a carriage in the procession with her three children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven.
The Princess has worn a turquoise dress coat by Catherine Walker, a hat by Juliette Botterill, the Irish Guards Regimental Brooch, and a pair of earrings that belonged to the late Queen. Princess Charlotte, who sat beside Kate in the carriage, is wearing a matching hue to her mother.
Royal fans have been quick to praise the similar outfits worn by Kate and Charlotte today, as well as their sweet bond, with one fan calling them “the most iconic mother daughter duo ever”.
One fan wrote on X: “Their matching outfits are soooo beautiful today. I cannot get over it.”
Another said: “The twinning. I am in love with this color.”
A third wrote: “The best mother and daughter duo.”
Someone else said: “Princess Charlotte matching her mama so beautifully today.”
A number of senior royals have stepped out at Trooping The Colour today alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla, including Duchess Sophie, Prince Edward, Princess Anne and Sir Timothy Laurence.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester are also present at today’s event.
Prince William did not join Kate and their three children in a carriage as he instead rode horseback in the event.
