“One reason why good listeners are greatly appreciated is because we love to be known and understood.
“Deep and intimate relationships are built on mutual self-revelation, a sharing of personal information with others that creates bonds and connections. The only way we can know and be known is through a self-unveiling.
“Similarly, the only way we can know God is if he chooses to reveal himself.
“God is invisible and infinite. As finite creatures, God is outside of our ability to comprehend.
“So what does God do? He provides us with a tangible way to know the truth about him.”
