No arrests have been made in the wake of the mass shooting in Nimes, where police are hunting three men in connection with the daylight gunfight.
One of the suspects is a man who was seen wearing a dark hooded jacket and carrying what appeared to be an assault rifle.
France’s CRS, their controversial riot police, have been called in to assist in the operation, which followed the terrifying mass shooting at 7pm on Place Avogadro that left six people injured.
Local media reports that, a few hours after the shooting took place, local children resumed playing ball games nearby while squads of armed police looked on.
