This killer beheaded his own dad in 14-minute YouTube video | US | News

In a chilling confession, 33 year old Pennsylvanian Justin Mohn admitted to beheading his father and displaying the gruesome act in a YouTube video, attributing his heinous deed to a failed “plan B”.

Justin Mohn told a court on Wednesday that he resorted to murder after his father, Michael Mohn, a 68 year old ex-federal employee, rebuffed an attempted citizen’s arrest for purported “treason.”

The macabre incident unfolded on January 30, 2024, leaving those present in the courtroom, including Mohn’s mother Denice, in tears as they heard the emotionless recount of the events.

According to reports from the court, Mohn described in disturbing detail how he had tried to detain his father at gunpoint outside a bathroom, intending to take him to the authorities. Mohn also alleged that his father, trained in martial arts, threatened to kill him before submitting to an arrest and even made a move towards the firearm, prompting Mohn to shoot.

Mohn lamented, “Unfortunately, he resisted,” and further shared, “I was hoping to perform a citizen’s arrest on my father for, ultimately treason.”, reports the Mirror.

However, he did not elaborate on his accusations of treason.

Following the shooting, Mohn gruesomely decapitated his father with a machete and a kitchen knife. He then exhibited the severed head during an unnerving 14-minute YouTube video, which shockingly remained online for several hours.

The chilling video, dubbed ‘Mohn’s Militia – Call to Arms for American Patriots,’ showcased Mohn furiously decrying “woke mobs” he accused of “destroying” the nation and shockingly offered a $million reward for the assassination of Biden administration officials. Mohn later asserted that the beheading was part of an alternative “plan B” which involved plans to “boom” and “slice.”

He contrasted his political views with those of his liberal parents, identifying himself as a staunch conservative and suspecting his father of being involved in the “deep state.”

In his tirade, Mohn also drew on elements from the QAnon conspiracy theory, which has been thoroughly discredited and alleges high-ranking politicians, predominantly Democrats, are engaged in a satanic paedophile ring, as reported by MailOnline.

His disturbing video garnered over 5,000 views before its removal. In the footage, where Mohn brandished his father’s severed head, he proclaimed himself the “messiah” and told the court he believed his father was thwarting his ambitions to become the US President.

Mohn was apprehended on the day of the murder after scaling a fence at Fort Indiantown Gap, the National Guard’s headquarters in Pennsylvania. In his video, Mohn urged viewers to assassinate any relatives working for the federal government.

Investigators discovered a USB drive at his residence containing images of federal buildings and instructions for manufacturing explosives. The court was informed that police had previously visited Mohn’s home to caution him about his violent online posts targeting the government.

Mohn has confessed to killing his father but denies murder. He is undergoing a trial by judge alone, meaning only a judge will determine his fate, not a jury.
