(LifeSiteNews) — A social media post depicting the suffering of men whose children have been aborted has gone viral on social media this week.
The July 7 post by a British pro-life medical doctor, Calum Miller, has amassed over 20 million views on X. The image he shared shows a simple comic with four pictures. In the first picture, a little boy is sitting on a swing, in the second, he is playing with his father, but the boy disappears in the third with only a faint silhouette of him remaining. In the fourth picture, the mother, seemingly dressed in business clothes and coming home from work, tells the father: “Let him go, the abortion was months ago.”

The story is meant to depict a man who imagines playing with his son, who was apparently aborted months prior, possibly without his consent. The post sparked many reactions, both positive and negative.
“We need commercials on TV about this,” one user wrote. “We need a commercial where someone presses the rewind button on a persons life they care about and brings them back to the point of fertilization. We need to humanize the unborn/unseen.”
“No one ever talks about the toll this takes on the man. It’s always about the my body my choice,” another person wrote.
Many men suffer heavily when their child is aborted, often without their consent. A tragic case like that of Juan Pablo Medina, who offered to take care of the child that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant with but she aborted the child anyway, is indicative of the reality many men face.
