It had been reported that the late Queen Elizabeth, along with Princess Kate, favoured Essie’s Ballet Slippers – a very light and subtle baby pink with a glossy finish.
Usually, they would have a squoval or soft square shape to their nails.
Even Meghan Markle is said to have chosen the shade to attend royal engagements before she quit.
Other royals have broken the tradition before, including Princess Kate and Duchess Sophie, who have been spotted wearing red nails and Meghan Markle, who’s also sported a short and square French manicure.
