(LifeSiteNews) — President Donald Trump is threatening legal action against The Wall Street Journal over what he calls a fabricated letter tying him to Jeffrey Epstein, while directing Attorney General Pam Bondi to unseal grand jury testimony related to the case.
The Journal claimed it reviewed a letter bearing Trump’s name that was allegedly included in a birthday album for Epstein, complete with a crude sketch of a naked woman. Trump flatly denied the report, calling it a “FAKE,” and said he warned both Rupert Murdoch and editor-in-chief Emma Tucker not to publish the story.
“These are not my words, not the way I talk,” Trump posted. “Also, I don’t draw pictures.”
The president also confirmed he would sue the Journal, its parent company NewsCorp, and Murdoch directly.

The Journal did not publish an image of the letter, nor did it confirm authentication by the Department of Justice or FBI. The document reportedly came from the so-called “Epstein files” handled under the Biden administration.
Trump dismissed the renewed attention on Epstein as a political hit job. “This scam, perpetuated by the Democrats, should end, right now,” he wrote. He also argued that had such a letter existed, it would have been weaponized long ago by political opponents like James Comey or Hillary Clinton.
Seeking to cut through speculation, Trump announced he had instructed Bondi to release any grand jury materials the courts would permit. “We are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts,” Bondi confirmed publicly.

The Justice Department recently stated it would not release any Epstein “client list” and affirmed there was no evidence contradicting the official ruling of suicide.
Former Trump advisor Elon Musk has previously suggested that Donald Trump and Steve Bannon are both included in the Epstein files. On the other hand, Tucker Carlson has also suggested that government reticence on releasing Epstein data may be intended to shield Epstein’s network rather than Trump himself.
While Trump and Epstein were socially linked during their time in New York, the two reportedly parted ways before Epstein was first criminally charged in 2006. There is no evidence implicating Trump in any criminal activity related to Epstein.
