(LifeSiteNews) — Some alleged healthcare providers have shown their true colors recently, proving they care more about killing innocent preborn babies in the womb than providing medical care to poorest Americans.
The recent budget reconciliation bill signed by President Donald Trump included a provision that generally prohibited abortion vendors from receiving federal Medicaid dollars for one year. While this has been referred to as “defunding Planned Parenthood,” it covers any organization that receives more than $800,000 in Medicaid payments.
According to the Associated Press, a “health care provider” in Maine got “caught” by the bill.
Maine Family Planning is suing the Trump administration over the provision. A nurse practitioner told the AP the defunding of abortion vendors is “cruel.”
“Knowing how hard it is to access care in this state, not allowing these community members to access their care, it’s cruel,” Vanessa Shields-Haas told the AP. She is apparently referring both to non-abortion offerings (i.e., wellness exams) but also abortions. We know this because Shields-Haas is a staunch supporter of killing preborn babies in the womb, having previously volunteered with the New Orleans Abortion Fund, and she also appears to be an abortionist.
“As a nurse practitioner, I will now be able to provide abortion as part of comprehensive primary care—something I could not have done in Louisiana,” Shields-Haas, who said she is part of the “LGBTQ community,” wrote in Ms. Magazine in 2020.
That is why Maine Family Planning is not receiving Medicaid payments anymore – they kill innocent and defenseless preborn babies in the womb.
“Maine Family Planning says that if it had to turn away patients, it would be more complicated for them than simply finding another provider,” the AP reports. “There aren’t enough in rural areas, the group notes — and many don’t accept Medicaid.”
However, the company did not get “caught” up in the bill, as if Congress made a drafting error and accidentally included facilities who just provide cancer screenings or help elderly people manage their medications. Rather, the organization is going to lose money because it kills babies in the womb and is deciding that that is more important than providing actual medical care.
Remember, all this organization needs to do to continue to receive Medicaid payments and provide medical care to poor people is to just not kill babies.
Thousands of medical entities and millions of Americans will never kill an innocent human being. Yet this alleged healthcare provider has so much trouble going one day without jamming a knife in a baby’s neck, injecting chemicals into a baby’s heart to cause a heart attack abortion, or handing a girl dangerous chemical abortion drugs that it is willing to leave thousands of poor people without medical care.
For years, Planned Parenthood and other abortion vendors have lived off the federal taxpayer gravy train. Weak Republicans would refuse to defund Planned Parenthood, and the abortion giant would always cry that even doing so would disrupt the “healthcare” they provide.
But now Planned Parenthood and their fellow baby slaughterers are facing the music, and the results are going to be devastating for their facilities, but a positive step for preborn babies and the sanctity of human life.
In fact, the organization has predicted 200 of its facilities could close due to the cuts – which underscores why President Trump and Republicans need to push further for a complete, total, and permanent defunding of Planned Parenthood. Such a maneuver would likely permanently end the abortion giant and save millions of the tiniest citizens from death.
Planned Parenthood is not a healthcare organization, nor is any other organization that decides killing preborn babies is more important than providing poor kids with wellness exams or single moms with cancer screenings. Trump was right to defund Planned Parenthood and he would be even more right if he kept going and finished them off entirely.
