You can’t avoid them. In London, opera lovers who attended a performance of Il Trovatore at the Royal Opera House were exposed to pro-“Palestinian” propaganda:
A privately educated “queer dance artist” unfurled a Palestinian flag while on stage at the Royal Opera House before tussling with a stagehand who tried to wrest it from him.
During the curtain call on the closing night of the production of Verdi’s Il Trovatore on Saturday, a cast member dressed as a horned demon stood before the audience silently holding the flag.
Video of the incident shows a man emerging from the wings and attempting to take the flag from him. The pair are then seen tugging the flag back and forth while the audience continues to applaud the performance.
The cast member eventually wins out and goes on displaying the flag as crew members standing in the wings appear to shout at him.
This is “they/them” Daniel Perry, the “queer dance artist” who displayed the flag:
JD Vance has announced that he and his family will vacation in the Cotswolds next month. Traditionally, foreign dignitaries have been welcome as vacationers pretty much anywhere around the world. But not these days:
JD Vance has been warned by protesters that he will “find the resistance waiting” when he visits the Cotswolds this summer.
The US vice-president is expected to travel to the UK with his family for a holiday among the picturesque villages and rolling hills in August.
Ahead of his visit, however, an anti-Donald Trump coalition of pro-Palestinian demonstrators, climate protesters and trade unions has told Mr Vance to expect protests against his trip.
Recently, protesters have also harassed Vance’s family at the hotel where they were staying at Disneyland, and they disrupted his family’s ski vacation in Vermont.
Leftism is perverse: leftists regard evil conduct not just as acceptable, but as virtuous. We have seen this repeatedly in recent years. While conservatives respect traditional norms, for liberals it is all politics, all the time. And liberals try to make life miserable for conservatives and their families. Sometimes this means shooting them or firebombing their offices; more often it consists of efforts to intrude on their peace and quiet, such as we saw at the Royal Opera House and expect to see next month in the Cotswolds. But it all needs to stop.
