I often like to say that, as low as they may be, Democrats can always go lower in approval — they keep proving how true that is.
As we reported on July 17, Congressional Democrats are at 19 percent approval. That’s a historic low in the Quinnipiac poll. It’s the lowest since Quinnipiac began polling the Congressional approval question in 2009. They also have 72 percent disapproval.
That 19 percent is even lower than the 21 percent that Quinnipiac reported in March, when CNN’s Harry Enten snarked, “You just can’t get lower than these numbers.” But somehow the Democrats found a way.

But, as I said, they can always go lower. One of the reasons is that they have bad policies, executed poorly. We saw a good example of their clueless behavior from the “Democrats” X account on Thursday. It was meant as an attack on President Donald Trump. It was a graph with the caption, “Trump’s America.”

However, there was a small problem with the graph that whoever was in charge of “The Democrats” account didn’t seem to understand.
It’s a great illustration of how bad things were under Biden, when they called inflation transitory, but it rose to 9 percent and was a huge problem. The numbers on the graph during the second Trump term have been generally stable.
The X post was up for hours, with it going viral with more than three million views, before someone finally realized what they had done and deleted it. So not only ignorance about what they had posted, but also a failure to pick up on the problem for some time.
People, including the Trump Rapid Response team, had a lot of fun mocking how badly these characters did their jobs.

That explains so much. Can Democrats not read a graph? No wonder they don’t understand the economy, it shows when they post things like this.
The problem was that Joe Biden didn’t seem to know any more than the intern who posted this. His policies and actions worsened things. He even denied Bidenflation, as it was hitting everyone in the pocketbook. When he finally admitted it, he blamed everyone else except himself. Unlike Harry Truman, the buck did not stop with Biden. It sailed right over his head.

Meanwhile, under Trump, inflation numbers have been good, beating expectations. And he’s only just starting after inheriting Biden’s mess.
