If Kamala Harris is trying to convince the American people that she can be a normal human being, her latest TikTok video is going to convert absolutely nobody.
Harris, having just announced the upcoming release of her book “107 Days,” decided to promote her literary efforts by engaging in a viral social media trend. It didn’t turn out well.
Incidentally, 107 is way more than the number of fingers and toes on the human body, so we’re actually impressed that Harris was able to peg that number for her book title.
That aside, Kamala posted a video in which she appears to be taking part in the “Who said that?” TikTok trend, which, according to Indy100, is meant to be a humorous way of getting out some uncomfortable truths.
The uncomfortable truth here apparently is that the former Vice President has been writing a book and not getting hammered on a beach somewhere.
“Everyone thinks you’ve been kicking back, drinking margaritas on the beach, but really you’ve been hard at work writing a book, meeting with leaders, thinking about the future of our country,” Harris said to nobody in particular.
She then dramatically faced the camera and asked, “Who said that?”

First off, good Lord. The cringe is off the charts.
Second, AOC, she is not. Frankly, Harris makes Hillary Clinton look less stiff and unrelatable in comparison.
Third, the whole point of this goofy trend is that people can’t see your mouth. You can see Kamala’s lips a-moving the entire time.
Fourth, the statement is supposed to be “wildly bold,” meaning Harris believes the fact that she had the intellectual stamina to write a book to be shocking. Kind of a self-own there.
And in summary, maybe she’s right about the margaritas; she’s always been viewed as kind of the “wine Mom” type, as Tucker Carlson once explained.
It seems pretty apparent that the publishers of her new book would like to see Kamala put herself out there and sell to consumers that she’s just a regular person that everyone can relate to. It’s also pretty obvious that the publishers don’t know who they’re dealing with.
This is, after all, the same woman who boasts of varying degrees of obsession with Venn diagrams and yellow school buses. Thus, the finished product in her new TikTok video has all the feeling of a Steve Buscemi “How do you do, fellow kids?” skit.
Best case scenario, maybe a handful of kids on TikTok will find this amusing, or hip, or edgy. Will it sell books to them? Yeah, not likely.
It genuinely hurts how bad she is at just being a normal person.
It’s so forced and so fake, it’s literally the opposite of Trump.
Kind of insane she was ever the nominee.

Pretending to be something she isn’t – normal – is not exactly Kamala’s strong suit. Yet, she keeps trying to convince folks.
Whether she’s using a French accent to speak to officials in France, or she’s using child actors pretending to be excited about her discussions of space, or she’s plagiarizing Martin Luther King, Jr. with a story about “freedom”.
No genuine person is hiding under the facade.
