The hits just keep coming, and no, I’m not talking about Saturday night on your favorite local FM radio station. Former Clinton and Obama creatures are watching the torrent of recently declassified and released RussiaGate documents with growing alarm. Before too much longer, the collective flop-sweat from Clapper, Brennan, Comey, and the rest of the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight will be enough to fill several Olympic swimming pools. Oh, I don’t hold out too much hope for any of them being perp-walked down their front sidewalks early in the morning, satisfying as that would be; but the fun part to watch in all this is how much of it comes around to the most deeply and fundamentally corrupt political figure since Huey Long, or maybe since Caligula; at least, she was, until Joe Biden happened along.
I’m talking about Hillary Clinton, of course. My colleague at sister site Townhall.com, Matt Vespa, writes:
It’s over, man. Over. The Russian collusion hoax has been so thoroughly exposed, so stripped down to the bare bones, that it’s now just as pathetic as it is disconcerting. The largest intelligence operation in American history was used against us—and for what? To cover Hillary Clinton’s botched use of an unsecured server while she served as Barack Obama’s top diplomat. Since the server was unsecured, it was likely hacked, and files were retrieved. Democrats needed to take action to launch countermeasures.
So is the NYT/Russia collusion hoaxers claim that Russia faked a plan that just happened to be identical to Clinton’s actual plan that she ended up running with NYT’s help? Kind of funny. https://t.co/IXIZR7AxBz

Here’s the thing about countermeasures: They are supposed to, you know, counter a measure. Former Rolling Stone contributing editor Matt Taibbi, writing on his Substack, shows that this didn’t happen:
One, Hillary Clinton and her team apparently hoped to deflect from her email scandal and other problems via a campaign tying Trump to Putin. Two, American security services learned of these plans. Three — and this is the most important part — instead of outing them, authorities used state resources to massively expand and amplify her scheme. The last stage required the enthusiastic cooperation and canine incuriosity of the entire commercial news business, which cheered as conspirators made an enforcement target of Trump, actually an irrelevant bystander.
I’ve tiptoed for years around what I believed to be true about this case, worrying some mitigating fact might emerge. Now, there’s no doubt. Hillary Clinton got in a jam, and the FBI, CIA, and the Obama White House got her out of it by setting Trump up. That’s it. It was a cover-up, plain and simple…
It was a cover-up indeed, but now the covers are being stripped back to reveal Hillary Clinton’s… Well, that’s about as far as I want to take that metaphor, so let’s just leave it as “Hillary Clinton’s dishonesty, arrogance, incompetence, and corruption.”
This thing has deep roots, of course. The entire Democrat machine seems to have bent to the dark, sinister will of Her Imperial Majesty Hillary I in this matter, and now it’s backfiring.

For those of us on the right, this is must-see TV. It’s been fun, and our fun almost certainly hasn’t ended yet; not by a long shot. But the Dowager-Empress and her sometimes foe, sometimes boss Barack Obama, have both placed great stock in their legacies. Well, this is it: Both legacies are now tainted with a rather transparent cover-up, in which members of the Obama administration created an entirely fake narrative to 1) Prop up a bad carpetbagger senator and the worst Secretary of State ever in her presidential run, and 2) to damage the first term of an upstart New York real estate guy who had the nerve to challenge her. In a hundred years, when people read of this time, they’ll read of the Russian collusion hoax. That is, unless we allow the left to continue to control the education establishment.
This whole thing, this whole master plan to protect Her Imperial Majesty and get Trump, it’s all coming apart. It’s the greatest show on earth.
