A man fell to his death during an Oasis show at Wembley Stadium.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the London venue at around 10.20pm on Saturday, August 2, to reports a man had been injured.
“A man – aged in his 40s – was found with injuries consistent with a fall.
“He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” the Met Police said
The man was understood to be sitting in the upper tier of the stadium, reports The Sun.
A force spokesperson added: “The stadium was busy, and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage.
“If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.”
Wembley Stadium said the band’s concert tonight will still be going ahead despite yesterday’s incident.

After Sunday night’s performance, they will travel to Scotland, Ireland, Canada and the US before returning to Wembley for two more dates at the end of September.
The tour was announced on August 27, 2024, just ahead of the 30th anniversary of the band’s debut album Definitely Maybe.
Demand for tickets was unprecedented, with over 14 million fans reportedly scrambling for just 1.4million seats across 17 initially announced UK and Ireland dates.

Tickets for the shows were released on August 31, 2024, and faced significant backlash due to long wait times, technical errors, and high resale prices.
Many fans reported being flagged as bots or encountering limited time windows to purchase.
Support acts for the tour include Cast, Richard Ashcroft, Cage the Elephant, and Ball Park Music.
