Even CNN Can’t Spin for Democrats and Is Forced to Admit Trump’s America First Policy Is Working – RedState

President Donald Trump’s America First Policy is working, especially when it comes to his economic policies, and even CNN couldn’t spin the latest inflation report and was forced to admit that the costs of groceries and energy are down compared to when former President Joe Biden was in office.

During the White House Press Conference on Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s message was for people to “ignore the panicans and trust in President Trump” and his America First Economic Agenda because it’s working, as she touted the July inflation report showing wage growth and low inflation under Trump.

“Today’s CPI report revealed that inflation beat market expectations once again, and inflation remains stable,” Leavitt said in a clip our sister site Townhall.com posted. “Overall inflation has run at a 1.9 average annual pace in President Trump’s first six months in office.”

“Prices for everyday goods continue to decline. Energy prices fell in July, including gasoline, which is down nearly 10 percent over last year, and propane, which is down 2.5 percent over last year as well,” she added. “Egg prices fell once again in July and are down 20 percent since President Trump took office. Shelter inflation, the largest contributor to overall inflation, is at its lowest level since October of 2021.”

“Wage growth for American workers is beating inflation once again,” Leavitt continued. “As inflation declines, this administration continues to be wholeheartedly committed to putting more money back into the American people’s pockets. American real wages are up 1.3 percent over last year, and have increased each month since President Trump took office, and small business optimism, according to this morning’s report, has also reached a five-month high.”

And you don’t have to take the White House’s word for it, even our old pals over at CNN were having a hard time spinning the positive economic numbers and had to admit things are better under Trump.

In another clip from Townhall.com, a CNN reporter can hardly believe her eyes in a report about energy and grocery prices falling.

“When you look at the key categories that we always look at, energy, food, and shelter, Energy fell by 1.1 percent, largely driven because of gas prices falling in the month of July by 2.2 percent,” the reporter said. “Look at that food! Food Flat 0 percent, and actually DOWN at the grocery store by .1 percent.”

Uh Oh, CNN’s Few Viewers Aren’t Going to Be Happy With Their Report About Trump’s Economy

You’ve just got to love seeing news outlets like CNN having to admit that all their doom and gloom about Trump’s polices haven’t come to fruition.

The news comes following a CNN report at the end of July that President Trump’s economic policies are working, as consumer confidence rose, RedState reported.

It read:

A post shared on Tuesday on X from the outlet read, “US consumer confidence rose in July, suggesting Americans feel a bit more confident about the economy because of President Trump’s tariff agreements.”

It comes amid the doomsday reports from the likes of legacy media and Democrats claiming Trump’s tariffs would spark higher inflation, with some even suggesting it would lead to a recession.

It is certainly refreshing to see how every time legacy media outlets are wrong, Americans just keep winning.
