Jimmy Kimmel reveals Trump admin led him to get Italian citizenship.
“Led?” In what sense?
Jimmy Kimmel revealed that he obtained his Italian passport just in case he has to leave the country because of President Trump.
It does not appear that the late-night talk show host has any understanding of the current leadership of the Italian Republic.
I must confess that I have seen little of Mr. Kinmel’s work since the days a quarter-century ago when he co-hosted The Man Show on basic-cable TV with right-winger Adam Carolla. From memory, that program featured girls jumping on trampolines and similar high-brow fare.
I’m led to believe that Mr. Kimmel has a penchant for blackface comedy. To each his own, I guess.
It now appears that Kimmel is in the position to enjoy luxury virtue signaling. The Hill reports,
Kimmel said that he was able to obtain Italian citizenship because of his mother’s side of the family, according to the Los Angeles Times.
He’s not alone.
