Five things that caught my eye over the last few days, about which I don’t have enough to say to merit a post:
Minnesota has become a laughingstock, as has public radio. Combine the two, and this is what you get:
I actually like that. Everything that reveals the insanity of the global warming crowd is a public service.
Next, my idea of solid police work:
Police in Paris arrest a rioter 👇
Rioter: “I just said Free Palestine”
Policeman: “Shut the f*ck up. Go to Palestine if you’ve got the balls” 🤣 pic.twitter.com/IlV4quciQP

Here is another, on the same subject. You could say that these people lack self-awareness:
Brian Eno is organising a “pro-Palestinian music festival”. Yes really. Because those two things go so well together. pic.twitter.com/gvQyY5tBMK

They took the last train for the coast…the Atlantic coast, that is: Miami Beach. Another iconic California company bids that formerly great state goodbye:
Playboy is moving its corporate headquarters from Los Angeles to Miami Beach, Florida, with the CEO of the pioneering men’s entertainment company — and liberal outlet — describing California as hostile to business.
Also this:
Playboy is also returning to nudes and fit women after a failed “woke” rebrand that featured plus-size models and a transgender playmate, plus a temporary ban on nudity.
I confess that the first thing I thought when I saw this story was, “You mean they are still publishing Playboy?”
This is in the category of good news, relatively speaking:
[In the U.K., a] belief in God has doubled among young people in the past four years.
More than one third of 18 to 24-year-olds now believe in a supernatural deity, up from just 16 per cent in 2021.
The YouGov survey findings also reveal that atheism – the belief of no God – has fallen in the same age group from 49 per cent in August 2021 to 32 per cent.
So it looks like a dead heat with atheists. Young Muslims obviously contribute to those numbers, but don’t account for most of the increase.
