Federal authorities scored another significant victory in holding rioters accountable in a case involving a mob that broke into an FBI vehicle and allegedly stole equipment and a rifle. The incident was captured on video and shared across social media.
While the attack on a federal law enforcement vehicle sparked outrage, this latest arrest underscores the danger posed to agents themselves even after the attack.
Brenna Marie Doyle was arrested in Spokane, Washington, and charged with making chilling death threats against a Minnesota-based FBI agent and his family.
The threats stemmed directly from a mob scene on January 14th, where rioters vandalized and looted an FBI vehicle—destroying taxpayer-funded equipment and stealing countless items, including, allegedly, weapons and body armor.
Doyle, though, stands accused of stealing something less dramatic but equally as dangerous, it turns out. She is accused of stealing an FBI agent’s personal identification during the scrum. She then reportedly used that ID to track him down days later, making serious threats against him and his family days later.

A criminal complaint obtained by Fox News shows prosecutors allege that the woman used the stolen ID to track the agent down, then left three disturbing voicemails explicitly vowing to kill him, his wife, and his child in retaliation for engaging in official duties.
FBI Minneapolis touted Doyle’s arrest on X, declaring threats against employees of the bureau “will not be tolerated.”
“Yesterday, FBI Agents in Spokane, Washington at the request of FBI Minneapolis arrested a woman after she left 3 disturbing voicemails threatening to kill an FBI agent, his wife, and child because of the agent’s employment in MN,” they added. “IF you threaten to harm law enforcement officers or their families, the FBI will find you and hold you accountable.”

FBI Director Kash Patel also noted that Doyle’s arrest marks the second involving the vehicle theft in the past couple of days.
“This evening, the FBI arrested another individual who allegedly used some of the stolen ID information to threaten an FBI agent and their family – including their children. This is the second such arrest in two days,” he announced.
“Our teams continue to pursue every last person responsible for not only this incident but those who target law enforcement with threats, impede their lawful operations, and more around the country.”

Patel told Fox News Digital that his team will continue to pursue any others involved in the FBI vehicle theft or any individuals who impede law enforcement operations.
“The FBI will continue aggressively pursuing the violent criminal actors who attack or threaten our law enforcement, impede their lawful operations, or destroy and vandalize government property – not just in Minneapolis but across the country,” he said.
