Whiteman Air Force Base, in Missouri, is the primary home to our B-2 Spirit stealth bomber fleet. This is America’s only nuclear-capable stealth bomber. The (conventional) strikes ordered by President Trump on Iran’s nuclear facilities were launched from Whiteman Air Force Base.
Nearby, in fact sharing part of a border with Whiteman Air Force Base, is the Knob Noster Trailer Park. On Monday, in an exclusive story, The Daily Caller revealed that the Knob Noster Trailer Park, situated less than a mile from the runways used by our B-2 fleet, is owned by a web of shell companies connected to the Chinese Communist Party.
The Knob Noster Trailer Park in rural Missouri is located less than a mile from the runway of “the world’s only nuclear-capable stealth bomber.” Business filings and social media posts reveal the RV park is one of several properties near U.S. military interests acquired by a web of shell companies, which are ultimately owned by a couple who live in Canada and belong to organizations controlled by disgraced Chinese tycoon and self-described former CCP intelligence “affiliate,” Miles Guo, The New Yorker wrote in a 2022 profile.
Guo did not respond to multiple requests for comment. The Knob Noster Trailer Park’s manager declined to comment.
Of course, they declined to comment. They have literally no reason to offer any information to the American media, even though their very refusal raises questions.
The companies’ purchases raise serious national security concerns and must be investigated by federal authorities, says State Armor, a nonprofit focused on countering the CCP. State Armor provided information to the Daily Caller News Foundation for use in its investigation.
“China is pre-positioning assets across the U.S. in both the cyber and physical realm,” Michael Lucci, founder and CEO of State Armor, told the DCNF. “They seek to be able to incapacitate us. Federal and state leaders should be rapidly assessing how China’s assets within the U.S. — including industrial, residential and commercial properties on top of agricultural land — will double for military use. China’s agents should be expelled accordingly.”
And yet, it seems that every few weeks, we see another example of Chinese-backed interests acquiring properties in the United States, much of it suspiciously close to American military installations.
This is not the act of a friendly nation.

China is up to something here. There’s no conceivable reason for Chinese-backed interests to be investing in a rural trailer park in central Missouri except for its proximity to our primary stealth bomber base. There’s no conceivable reason for Chinese-backed interests to be interested in much of the land these organizations have been connected to, save for their proximity to American military installations.
This isn’t a real estate investment. It’s intelligence-gathering, or at the very least, setting up to conduct surveillance of these bases at some later point. And it’s hard to think of any reason the Chinese Communist Party would be planning to gather intelligence on our primary military bases, except to develop plans on how to hit those bases in the event of conflict.
Now, the War Department no doubt has plans to strike Chinese military bases as well. They are our primary geopolitical rival, and the Pentagon should have such plans prepared. Preparing plans for any eventuality is a big part of the Pentagon’s purpose; they probably have plans to invade Canada stuck in a drawer somewhere. But the United States isn’t buying land in China abutting their bases – not that Chinese subjects can buy land, either. As for agents-in-place, I hope we have some, but it’s orders of magnitude more difficult in China than it is here.
Yes, China is up to something. And what they are up to will almost certainly be to the detriment of the United States. This is just one more indicator.
