Bad Bunny, halftime performer at Super Bowl 2026, is a woke anti-Trump crossdresser

(LifeSiteNews) — Right when you thought going “woke” was a thing of the past, the NFL announces that its halftime performance at the 2026 Super Bowl will feature an anti-Trump, cross-dressing Puerto Rican artist who doesn’t even sing in English.

On Sunday, the NFL announced that rapper “Bad Bunny” will fill the coveted time slot, which is seen by tens of millions of viewers across the world. Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has won three Grammy Awards.

“This is for my people, my culture and our history,” he said in a statement released by the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation.

“My people?” “My culture?” Is the NFL entirely tone deaf to the shifting political winds of the past several years? Doubling down on this sort of messaging is sure to infuriate the league’s most loyal fan base: Christian, moderately conservative men who live in America.

Yet those are the exact persons whom Bad Bunny seems to dislike the most. For example, he recently announced that he will “never” perform in the United States in protest of President Trump’s deportation policies.

Unsurprisingly, Bad Bunny will host left-wing television program “Saturday Night Live” this coming weekend.

But it’s not just Bad Bunny’s politics that are out of step with American culture. His personal “style” is as well.

Photos of him dressed in high heels while wearing skirts have been making the rounds on social media. They are deeply disturbing. For once can’t we elevate pop stars who don’t flout God’s design for men and women? This is all so tiresome and unoriginal.

Beyond that, multiple X users have said that they believe his concerts are diabolical.

“Bad Bunny is a demonic Marxist who was been granted the largest stage with the greatest audience in the middle of a Christian revival. This is by design. We are in a spiritual war and once you see it you can’t unsee it,” one user stated.

Sure enough, photos and videos of his past performances (which can be seen here and here) have a very dark feeling to them. Watch them but say a prayer before doing so.

Another theory as to why the NFL chose this man is because it wants to expand its fan base.

“People think the NFL chose BadBunny b/c they are woke,” former Daily Caller reporter Saagsr Enjeti said on X. “[In real life] it’s [because] he has a huge foreign fan base and they want football to expand globally. Hence his choice + all the international games. Globalization coming for the most American sport.”

Enjeti may well be right. But even if he is, isn’t there someone, literally anyone, else who can appeal to a global audience and doesn’t have all this baggage attached to them? We American Christians are getting fed up with having this anti-conservative, anti-Christ “entertainment” thrown in our faces.
