On September 10, a nurse at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey, Lexi Kuenzle, said she was standing with a doctor, a patient, and other nurses when the news of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk’s assassination broke.
Kuenzle alleges that she said that was “terrible” news and that she loved him. She alleged that the doctor, Matthew Jung, said, “I hate Charlie Kirk,” and “He had it coming. He deserved it.”

Kuenzle claimed she found the comments “mind-blowing” and she felt it was her “duty” to speak up about that kind of attitude. But when she reported the incident to management, she says that she was suspended.
Her story then went viral on X, and she filed a lawsuit against the hospital, claiming she was wrongly suspended.
Now the hospital is weighing in on the matter, and it sounds like they understand what a huge mess they stepped into.
Englewood Health says it “diligently investigated” the September 10 incident “between a doctor and a nurse in a patient care area.” [….]
While the findings of the hospital’s investigation have not been disclosed, a spokesperson for the healthcare provider told Fox News Digital in an email that it has “[a]ccepted the physician’s resignation, and the nurse is expected to work her scheduled shifts.”
The spokesperson went on to say, “The nurse was never fired; was never told she would be fired by Englewood Hospital; and will not miss any pay as part of our review of this matter.”
That sounds like they finally figured it out. I’m guessing that in addition to their investigation, they may have heard from a few people on the matter. The national attention directed to the case likely helped bring it to a quick resolution. No doctor or any medical professional should cheer someone’s death, as was alleged here, especially not in front of a patient. How could you feel you were getting the best care, then, if you were of a different political persuasion?
Kuenzle’s attorney, John-Paul Deol of the Dhillon Law Group, welcomed the move.
“We are pleased that Ms. Kuenzle has been offered the chance to continue in her position and receive the pay she was wrongly denied, and we will be working with the hospital to resolve the remaining details,” Deol said in a statement to Fox News Digital.
Englewood Health’s statement on Monday said that the hospital “is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all.”
People cheered the action by the hospital, including Scott Presler, who championed her cause.
GOOD!

It’s wild to see how many cases there are of people cheering or making crazy comments about Kirk’s death.

How could people be so twisted?
But the arc may be bending toward justice.
