(LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Joseph Strickland drew attention early on Friday to humanitarian Jason Jones’ testimony that aid workers are being targeted and killed in Gaza, despite the disbelief of conservatives in the U.S.
On Thursday, Jones, founder and president of the Vulnerable People Project (VPP), shared a video in which he explained that his aid team, which delivers food across Gaza, was “pinned down for 36 hours” on the same day that over 50 aid workers were killed in the region.
Strickland reposted the video, imploring people to “listen” to Jones, who is “on the front lines defending life and risking his own.”

Jones told how he thought his aid workers were killed the day he didn’t hear from them for 36 hours, since he heard news that scores of aid workers died that day.
“My logistics partner, they have lost over 50 employees since the war started,” said Jones. “And I look at these guys thinking, they probably won’t survive this war.”
“Then I’ll get calls from conservative press saying that they know these are lies, that this isn’t true, that they’re not targeting aid workers,” he continued. “And I have to acknowledge, it is hard to believe.”

Last December, advocacy groups Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International released extensive reports concluding Israeli authorities were deliberately seeking to bring about the destruction of the people of Gaza by various means, including the deprivation of necessities like water, food, energy and medical care, amounting to crimes of genocide.
During Israel’s full humanitarian blockade against the two million Palestinians in Gaza, Knesset member (MK) Moshe Saada stated in late April on Israeli television that “I will starve the Gazans, yes, absolutely,” further stipulating, “It is our duty to expel the Gazans” and use starvation as a means to achieve this goal. “I want to starve Gazans completely, a full siege.”
In early May, other MKs also indicated that starving the children of Gaza was not necessarily a bad thing or was withholding painkillers from children who have had their limbs amputated due to bombing injuries from the Israeli army.
In March, LifeSiteNews released a report extensively documenting the genocidal ideology of Israelis fueled by the heresy of religious Zionism. The extremist teachings of these sects rationalize the expelling or direct killing of the entire Palestinian population by Jews as a supposed fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
