Brad Pitt said he’s definitely open to doing another movie with Tom Cruise after all these years, but he’s not doing any of those crazy stunts like hanging off a plane to be in one with him.
Speaking from the premiere of his next movie “F1,” the 61-year-old actor was asked what it would take to get him and Cruise in another movie again, given they haven’t appeared on the big screen together since the debut of their 1994 thriller “Interview with the Vampire.”
“Well, I’m not gonna hang my [..] off airplanes and [..] like that, so when he does something again that’s on the ground,” Pitt explained, giving only praise to his pal.

The director of Pitt’s new film, Joseph Kosinski, reflected on working with Cruise in “Top Gun: Maverick” and said his penchant for doing stunts for his movies is like no other.
“Tom [Cruise] always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time, is super capable and very skilled,” he added. “They both [Cruise and Pitt] have the natural talent for driving. But yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.”
The comments were similar to what the movie’s action-vehicle supervisor, Graham Kelly, said about working with the two men.
“We’d have had a crash. Tom pushes it to the limit. I mean really to the limit. That terrifies me. I mean, I’ve done loads of Mission: Impossibles with Tom and it’s the most stressful experience for someone like me building cars for him, doing stunts with him. Whereas Brad listens and he knows his abilities, and I think he’d be the first to say, ‘Yeah, I’m not going to do that.'”
Despite the “Fight Club” star’s refusal to do death-defying stunts for the audience, he might want to backtrack on those comments, given how the “Mission: Impossible” star was recently awarded the Guinness World Records title, and it was for doing 16 burning parachute jumps, The Wrap reported. It all happened while filming the unbelievable plane sequence for “M: I -The Final Reckoning.”
“Tom doesn’t just play action heroes – he is an action hero,” Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, said.
“A large part of his success can be chalked up to his absolute focus on authenticity and pushing the boundaries of what a leading man can do. It’s an honor to be able to recognize his utter fearlessness with this new Guinness World Records title,” he added.
Tom Cruise Just Broke an Insane World Record All to Entertain Audiences
In the new behind-the-scenes video shared on YouTube from Paramount Pictures, Cruise explained, “If this is twisted while it’s burning, I’m going to be spinning and burnt. I have to kick out of the twist and then ignite in 10 seconds.”
“We’re going to be real smart. I’m not saying be risky. We don’t take risks, obviously,” he added in the clip, before he starts laughing. It was a reference to all the crazy stunts he’s done over the last eight M: I films to entertain audiences, like jumping off a building, scaling the Burj Khalifa, hanging off the side of a plane, etc.
The “Top Gun” star has proven over and over again that he understands what the audience wants and continues to show Hollywood how a movie star should act, RedState reported.
Brandon Morse wrote that:
Recently, Cruise has been promoting his upcoming film, the highly anticipated “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning.” Not only has he announced he’s showing up to theaters to greet fans in person as showings…
… but he’s also making sure none of his fans or moviegoers feel alienated in any way, making all feel welcome to see the movie.
Cruise figured out what other celebrities haven’t. If you don’t comment on divisive things, and keep the focus on the movie, then people will be more apt to show up and watch it.
