Police have launched an investigation after a British man was found dead between two parked cars at a Costa Blanca holiday resort.
The 50-year-old’s body was found on the ground in the town of Javea which is up the coast from Benidorm in the south-east of Spain.
An alert was sent out about 7.45am on Sunday morning.
In the afternoon, the Civil Guard said that there was no obvious signs of violence at the scene.
However, it was waiting results of the autopsy.
It is unclear if the man was a local resident or holidaying in the area.
Police raced to the scene after a call went into a regional government-run emergency response centre.
The area was sectioned off for forensic officers to investigate.
