A commenter adds more details, the accuracy of which I have not investigated:
Maple syrup workers dropped a dime on some “British men” who were wandering around a remote part of Maine in search of their getaway driver after they illegally snuck into the U.S.
Makes you wonder how many times this happens and no one ever gets caught. https://t.co/5PS6pS9EYz

The northern border is long and unguarded. A Central American hoping for a job in landscaping will try to cross the southern border. But a would-be terrorist would, in all probability, choose the northern route. I remember that when I was in elementary school, the U.S.-Canadian border was proudly described as the longest unguarded border in the world. Sadly, time marches on, and that is no longer something to be proud of.
