A British woman has vanished from a northern Greek beach whilst her spouse was sleeping nearby.
Michele Bourda, 59, disappeared from Ofrynio beach in Kavala during the midday hours on Friday.
The woman had been taking a swim when she went missing.
She was dressed in a rhinestone-decorated two-piece swimming costume, paired with yellow footwear for the beach and sunglasses with red bone frames.
Relatives quickly alerted authorities after discovering her absence, but search efforts have yet to locate the missing woman.
Her husband had been resting on the beach when she disappeared.
Police have been conducting searches in the area but have not found her.
The disappearance follows another incident involving a 60-year-old British visitor who vanished in Greece the previous month.
