Candace Owens’ Predictable Response to Charlie Kirk Show Invite Prompts Accusations of Cowardice – RedState

Podcast host Candace Owens’ predictable response to the invitation by “The Charlie Kirk Show” producer Blake Neff over her numerous “evil” accusations surrounding Kirk’s assassination has prompted accusations of “cowardice” and more.

As RedState reported on Wednesday, Neff posted a video on X calling out Owens for her “reckless disregard for the truth” and the “evil” lies he said she’s made about the killing of the late co-founder of Turning Point USA, which even includes Owens suggesting Kirk’s friends and organizations allegedly knew and approved of his murder.

In Neff’s announcement, he also said that TPUSA will host a livestream to address each and every one of the false accusations and the baseless claims, and he offered an open seat for Owens to join them.

Owens’ initial response was, “You can pick the place. You can pick the time. I say we do it tomorrow. We don’t need to plan for this… I want it to be authentic.”

Late Wednesday, Neff announced that it would take place in Phoenix on December 15, again inviting Owens to join them in person on the 15th at 2 pm local time, where a “collection of Charlie’s friends will respond to statements made by @RealCandaceO, to set the record straight once and for all prior to the opening of AmericaFest [which starts December 18.)”

Owens then bizarrely flip-flopped and responded that she wouldn’t be able to make it.

Her post read in part:

“Kind of weird how you didn’t e-mail or call me to ask about times or availability and chose to instead tweet this confirmation out at midnight,” Owens wrote. “Why am I learning about this on X?”

“December 15 does not work in-person and 2 pm PT is also the literal time I do my podcast LIVE every day (which you knew)— but we will happily cancel the daily podcast and will join you guys virtually instead for the livestream on the 15th if that works on your end?” she added. “Let’s lock it in?”

Neff reposted her response and said that they would then plan to move forward without her.

“Thank you for your response, letting us know you will not be joining the in-person conversation. We will be proceeding without you.”

And now it’s Candace who’s being mocked as a coward.

“This is cowardice. An in-person is never going to happen……,” one person wrote.

Another wrote, “Lmao, of course she’s backing out.”

A third added, “Candace’s exact quote about talking to TPUSA yesterday. ‘You can pick the place. You can pick the time. I say we do it tomorrow. We don’t need to plan for this… I want it to be authentic.” Fast forward to today,” which included her new response along with three crying laughing emojis.

A fourth person posted on X, “I’m confused. Didn’t Candace Owens say, ‘anytime, anyplace?’ I knew this fraud would back down. Confronted with any questions about her crackpot conspiracies and the whole shtick crumbles like a house of cards.”

Is anyone shocked Owens won’t be there to back up her claims? Nope.
