(LifeSiteNews) — The roommate and alleged “partner” of Charlie Kirk’s assassin suspect has been confirmed to be a man who identifies as transgender.
Lance Twiggs was first reported to be the roommate of Tyler Robinson, the 22 year-old man arrested for shooting Kirk, by the Daily Mail. The two lived together in an apartment in St. George, Utah, about a four-hour drive from Utah Valley University, where Kirk was killed.
Twiggs gave the FBI “incriminating text messages” from Robinson that led to his arrest, the Daily Mail reported, including a text “about stashing a gun” linked to the shooting of Kirk.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed on Sunday that Twiggs is a “boyfriend” of Robinson and that he is “transitioning from male to female.”
A neighbor of Robinson and Twiggs told The Sun he had seen the men kiss and hold hands.
Journalist Andy Ngo scoured Twiggs’ social media history and found that accounts he associated with Twiggs showed he changed a display name from Lance to “Luna” and had anxiety about injecting cross-sex hormones.
Twiggs said he was kicked out of his home by his Mormon family on the r/exchristian subreddit, according to Ngo.
“[W]as told i was possessed by a demon and then within 30 mins kicked outta the house because i started laughing and wouldn’t go to the bishop for a blessing,” Twiggs wrote. “later found out they just didn’t like me and were looking for a way to get me out of the house, wasn’t even 18 at the time.”
While Twiggs has reportedly been “incredibly co-operative” with investigators, Robinson has not.
Robinson was turned in to law enforcement after his father noticed released footage of Kirk’s killer suspect looked like his son.
“Tyler, is this you? This looks like you,” he asked his son, according to law enforcement. Robinson reportedly confessed to his father he was the shooter and said, “I would rather kill myself than turn myself in.”
His father convinced him to “confide in a youth pastor who works with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshal’s Service,” the law enforcement source said.
Eventually a “family friend” reached out to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Robinson has not confessed to shooting Kirk, said Governor Cox, according to the BBC.
Robinson’s parents are active Mormons, while the 22 year-old reportedly left the religion.
Evidence indicates Robinson did not act alone. The FBI is currently investigating “social media posts by at least seven different accounts that appeared to indicate foreknowledge of the assassination of Charlie Kirk,” the Washington Free Beacon reported this morning.
Several of these accounts were associated with individuals identified as “transgender” or “non-gender-conforming.”
“The posts—one of which referenced the date of Kirk’s assassination, September 10, more than a month before it took place—were all deleted in the days following the killing,” the Beacon reported.
“itd be funny if someone like charlie kirk got shot on september 10th LMAO,” one X account posted on September 3.
One social media user, “@NajraGalvz,” wrote on X the day before Kirk’s assassination, “Charlie kirk is coming to my college tomorrow i rlly hope someone evaporates him literally,” and then posted, “Lets just say something big will happen tomorrow.” The user identified as “nonbinary.”
In a TikTok video posted the night before the shooting, an apparently gender-confused user wrote that “charles james kirk…does not know what’s coming tomorrow,” adding, “This isn’t a threat. It’s a promise.”
Though downplayed by the mainstream media, transgender violence is increasingly common, as such the shooting at Ascension Catholic School in Minnesota by a gender-confused man last month. This summer, an 18-year-old girl who identifies as male was sentenced to six years in prison after planning a school shooting in the U.K. In 2023, gender-confused female Audrey “Aidan” Hale murdered six people at a Presbyterian private school in Tennessee, among other cases.
The death of Kirk, an evangelical Christian, has deeply impacted many people across the globe and so far has inspired a significant number to go to Church and explore or embrace Christianity.
Kirk was extraordinarily influential both politically and culturally. He has been credited with helping Donald Trump to secure a second term as president and he is also known for respectfully engaging students on campuses across the country about a wide variety of issues, including abortion, Christianity, and the Constitution.
He reportedly was recently attending Catholic Mass with his wife and children and has said he wants to be remembered for “courage for my faith.”
It is not uncommon for “trans” individuals to admit that their attempt to change their sex is a kind of “band-aid” approach to dissociate from emotional distress not caused by their sex. While dissociation — a response to trauma or drugs that involves memory suppression — can afflict anyone, it is noteworthy that it is a hallmark of individuals who have undergone MK Ultra programming, according to MK Ultra survivor Cathy O-Brien. MK Ultra, a government “behavioral modification” program, was allegedly discontinued in 1973.
