Her Imperial Majesty Hillary I, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua, just can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight – not that the rest of the country isn’t sick and tired of hearing from her. The main problem Her Imperial Highness has is that the spotlight is shining light into some uncomfortable corners. In the latest such incident, we see that a watchdog group has filed an ethics complaint that may result in Hillary Clinton losing her Arkansas license to practice law.
Which prompted nearly everyone to react, “Wait, what? She still has a law license?“
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is facing an ethical complaint from a government watchdog group calling on the Arkansas state bar to probe whether Clinton’s involvement in the Russia investigation into President Trump should affect her ability to practice law in the state.
The complaint, filed by Democracy Restored this week, cites the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct involving “Dishonesty” and “Prejudice to the Administration of Justice” and seeks a “formal review of the conduct of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Esq., a licensed attorney in the State of Arkansas, in connection with her actions during the 2016 presidential campaign.”
It’s rather gobsmackingly obvious that Hillary Clinton, who until the advent of the Bidens was the most deeply and fundamentally corrupt political figure since Huey Long – maybe since Caligula – shouldn’t be allowed to practice law, anywhere. She is, to put it bluntly, a crook, and only her name and its connection to a former President of the United States has prevented her from ending up looking at prison bars from the wrong side – that and, very possibly (let’s say this quietly) the dirt she may well have on people who are still in positions of power and influence.
The mention of the 2016 campaign, by the way, has to do with (of course) Operation Crossfire Hurricane.
The complaint goes into detail, outlining Clinton’s connection to anti-Trump “opposition research” dating back to April 2016 and alleges that her campaign not only elevated “unverified” and “unvetted” information to “injure her political opponent” but cites recently released records to allege that she “personally signed off on an effort to amplify this bad intelligence to the media and federal law enforcement.”
“If there is one political scandal synonymous with the 2016 election, it is Operation Crossfire Hurricane,” a Democracy Restored director told Fox News Digital in a statement.
That much is certain. In recent months, Her Imperial Majesty has been subjected to a veritable Chinese water torture of revelations, allegations, and whistleblowers, dripping a steady drip, drip, drip of damning information. And, of course, since becoming the first Democratic woman candidate to lose a presidential election to Donald Trump, she’s been, honestly, unhinged.

But Arkansas? When was the last time she lived in Arkansas? In 1993, right before her husband – that would be former President Bill Clinton – assumed the presidency?
That’s probably neither here nor there, of course. Lots of professional people who maintain professional licenses to carry out their trade have licenses in multiple jurisdictions. But Her Imperial Majesty today appears to make her money from graft, which doesn’t require any license. She’s not practicing law. Why maintain an Arkansas law license?
Well, here’s an answer: An ethics investigation can strip that license from her, which will provide a source of amusement for those of us on the other side of the political game. Democrats, after all, always accuse Republicans of doing what they are doing themselves, and Her Imperial Highness has always been quick with the corruption allegations.
Did I mention she’s a crook?
Hillary Clinton has, ever since Bill handed the keys to the Oval Office to George W. Bush, been one of those political figures who have outlived their relevance but just won’t go away. Oh, sure, she was a carpetbagger Senator from New York for a few minutes. Then she was Secretary of State under President Obama, who relied on the old caution to “keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” As SecState, she had one distinction: Being the only American Secretary of State unable to find an interpreter who knew the Russian word for “reset.” And, finally, she wrapped up her political career by losing the 2016 election to President Trump.
Will an ethical investigation that causes her Arkansas law license to be yanked be enough to finally make Her Imperial Majesty shut up and go away?
Oh, who am I kidding? Of course it won’t.
