Endangerment endangered | Power Line

Enlightenment comes from an unlikely source in “EPA Releases Proposal to Rescind Obama-Era Endangerment Finding, Regulations that Paved the Way for Electric Vehicle Mandates.” Subhead: “If finalized, this proposal would undo the underpinning of $1 trillion in costly regulations, save more than $54 billion annually.”

I say unlikely, because in this case the source is the EPA itself. It does a better job explaining its proposal to rescind the 2009 Endangerment Finding than, to take an example at hand, the Politico story “Trump administration moves to repeal climate ‘holy grail.’”

As for the endangerment finding, this isn’t the end, but it may be the beginning of the end, at least for the duration of the Trump administration. It is a great development. Congratulations, Director Zeldin. May there be more where this one came from.
