Failed “The Daily Show” host Trevor Noah is facing backlash after his latest stand-up routine included a bit about what he thought was funny about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
In the YouTube clip, Noah is speaking to a crowd in New York at the Comedy Cellar about the murder of the founder of Turning Point USA on the campus of Utah Valley University on September 10th by a suspected killer who authorities say was strongly influenced by leftist ideology.

Noah, a South African “comedian,” found it funny that Kirk was killed by an assassin’s bullet while he was talking about the Second Amendment.
Here’s the disgusting clip from his show and the actions of members in the audience.

“Meanwhile, here comedians are […] themselves,” Noah said. “‘Don’t say anything about Charlie Kirk.’ I wasn’t going to say anything about him….about Charlie Kirk… ‘But don’t. There’s nothing funny about it.'”
“Ah, now you’ve tested me. I mean, there’s nothing funny about it?” he added, and the room laughed. “I’m sure there’s something funny about it. The guy was shot while defending guns. I’m not even writing that as a joke, as a human, you have to admit that is an incongruous, funny thing that happens.”
Noah then makes the sound of a gun going off and hitting a person as he describes how Kirk was on the stage talking when he was killed.
“That would be like if the captain of the Titanic was giving an impassioned speech about icebergs right before it happened…,” Noah went on to say, while trying to claim both were funny and not funny.

After the clip surfaced, people were quick to condemn it.
“Leftist ‘comedian’ Trevor Noah just said he thinks it was ‘funny’ that Charlie Kirk was shot while defending guns,” one person wrote. “This is the modern left. “
Another added, “Trevor Noah jokes about Charlie Kirk’s assassination during his standup set. These people are sick.”
While a third person wrote, “You must be soulless to find anything funny about a murder. Trevor Noah is making fun of Charlie Kirk’s murder, on behalf of people who say —’We need to ban guns or else we will keep killing you.'”
This is not funny. No one in that room should’ve been laughing. And I know some might say, “Who cares about this guy?” But my RedState colleague Bob Hoge reported, in his piece about “Why We Must Pay Attention to AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Newsom, and the Other Dem Nitwits,” why we must.
Hoge wrote:
The question I’m sure many are asking themselves these days—and I know, because I’ve heard it being asked—is, who cares? “Jasmine Crockett is a walking cartoon, and I am not interested in a single hateful word that comes out of her mouth.” “California Rep. Eric Swalwell makes a fool out of himself with every cringe tweet; who gives a rat’s patootie what he’s gaslighting about now?”
Turns out there’s a very good reason we should be paying attention. If you ignore the big snake in your bedroom, chances are it’s gonna bite you. And despite what it might look like at the moment, with their approval polls at the bottom of the Mariana Trench and their prospects looking dimmer than Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono’s intellect, they are not dead yet. They are still very, very dangerous to the future of America.
Simply put, we have to call out this leftist lunacy so it does not spread and grow. It must be combated at every turn.
