The talks were reportedly held during the summer, which was before her 2011 email to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein resurfaced.
A friend of Fergie’s told The Sun: “A lot has happened since her last memoir almost twenty years ago, such as having cancer twice and becoming a grandparent.
“It is not designed to exonerate Andrew but obviously she would not be able to write him out of it as he is an important part of her life. She couldn’t write a memoir without him being in it.”
She released her memoir, My Story, in 1996 – the same year that she officially divorced Prince Andrew.
The release saw the sharing of her hand account of time as a member of the Royal Family, as well as the breakdown of her marriage to Andrew and the media scrutiny she has faced.
Sarah also released her second memoir, Finding Sarah, in 2011.
In this book, Sarah wrote about her financial battles and personal struggles. While speculation has grown over a potential third memoir, nothing has been confirmed.
