Feeding Our Fraud: That Burnsville woman

Muna Wais Fidhin is defendant number 75 in the massive Feeding Our Future fraud scandal that took place under the nose of Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison. Lacking any shame, their dreams of higher office persist. The failure of the local Twin Cities media has something to do with the political vitality of these clowns (e.g., Walz) and knaves (e.g., Ellison). Ellison’s son Jeremiah, a member of the Minneapolis City Council going on the lam to Harvard, is writing a new chapter in knavery.

Fidhin’s fiddle made her a millionaire courtesy of the American taxpayer. The Star Tribune described Fidhin as a “Burnsville woman.” The Star Tribune leaves it at that.

Almost all of the defendants in the Feeding Our Future case have emigrated to the United States from Somalia. Fidhin is one more. Rep. Ilhan Omar is the nonpareil queen of fraud. The Feeding Our Future case is the biggest Covid fraud case in the United States. Indictments in Minnesota’s Medicaid Housing Stabilization Services fraud case have yet to be handed up, but they will feature yet another cast of Somali defendants.

Ms. Fidhin is an American citizen, but her roots are in the breakaway Somali province of Somaliland. Indeed, she appears to be the representative of Somaliland in the United States. The United States, I should add, does not formally recognize Somaliland.

Here she is at work.

Is she the wife of Somaliland’s putative foreign minister? We’re just asking questions.

If the news gets out, Minnesota may become something of an international embarrassment in this case. What we have here is a somewhat gross example of what you get when you cross a Third-World tribal culture with an urban Democratic establishment, if I may say so. So far, however, mum’s the word.
