Gavin Newsom’s official X feed has been getting more and more deranged. Instead of congratulating President Trump on the return of Israeli hostages, or at least remaining silent, Newsom tweeted a photo of Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu along with the actors from “Dumb and Dumber.”
This tweet was deleted, apparently after garnering too much adverse comment even for Newsom.
You have to wonder what Newsom thinks he is doing. He evidently believes that the most unhinged hater is the one who will win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2028, and he appears to be trying to stake out that position. Whether Democratic primary voters will really be impressed by Newsom’s childish antics remains to be seen.
