GB News BANNED from Jeremy Corbyn’s Your Party’s founding conference in snub to People’s Channel

GB News was turned away at the door of Your Party’s founding conference in a brutal snub to the People’s Channel.

Reporter Anna Riley was denied entry to the conference of the party despite applying for accreditation beforehand.

Britain’s News Channel contacted the Your Party organisers on multiple occasions ahead of the major event where the left-wing group will decide their name – despite existing for three months already.

Yet, GB News was Britain’s number one news channel on Budget Day, official data revealed.

Overnight data detailed average views on November 26, and indicate that GB News secured average views of 137,500, well ahead of Sky News on 119,200 and the BBC News Channel on 115,100.

Speaking in Liverpool, Anna Riley quietly seethed at the ban, commenting: “Of course, we are The People’s Channel.

“We want to cover all political spectrums and hear what Jeremy Corbyn was saying in his speech this morning.

“After waiting around for a fair amount of time this morning, I was eventually told that we would not be allowed inside the venue to cover the event, which is a real disappointment.”

“I’m sure our viewers and listeners would be interested in hearing what was said today at the conference.”

Tomorrow at the conference, attendees will hear speeches from Corbyn once again as well as Zarah Sultana, in addition to independent MPs Shockat Adam and Ayoub Khan.

The MPs will be joined by more than 2,000 delegates as well over the weekend when the party will finally decide on their official name.

Originally, organisers hoped that approximately 13,000 delegates would be in attendance.

Supporters have been supplied with a shortlist to choose between: Your Party, Our Party, Popular Alliance, For the Many.

“It was a sort of lottery for people to get places here. But members have been told that they can vote online as well and follow the conference online,” Anna said.

“There have been warnings as well to expect potential disruption here. Nothing I’ve seen so far.

“There is a police presence here as well, and at this inaugural conference, it’s all about forming the party together.

“What the party is going to do and what its morals and ambitions are.

“We know that it was decided back in July that the party would be formed, and over the last three months, they’ve been working to get together to get a mission statement, a political statement as to what they want the party to be all about.

“And they say it will be led by its members. So far, the political statement is that your party is a democratic member-led Socialist party that stands for social justice, peace and international solidarity.

“It says that the goal is to transfer wealth and power now concentrated in the hands of the few in a democratic socialist society.

“So your party, they’re saying their ambition is all about democracy. But perhaps for us it’s not entirely about press freedoms.”
