Gen Z women are freezing eggs to chase careers

(LifeSiteNews) — Gen Z women are freezing their eggs instead of getting married, buying into feminist propaganda telling them that a career will be more fulfilling than motherhood.

Egg freezing has become increasingly popular, especially among Gen Z women ages 18-25 who have been convinced that they must put motherhood on hold while pursuing careers outside the home.

A recent article by the National Post detailed a young woman who decided to freeze her eggs to enable her to put her fertility on hold while she pursued a writing career.

The trend comes as birth rates among Gen Z are alarmingly low and Gen Z are more likely to delay parenthood compared with earlier generations. “Bhopa was only 24 years old at the time but already had a promising career ahead as a published children’s author, running a non-profit organization with her sister and was pursuing a Ph.D. in global health,” the article read.

Bhopa concluded that freezing her eggs was a “logical decision” as she reasoned that he would not be ready to be a mother until later in life at which time she believed she would be less likely to conceive naturally.

Like many of her generation, Bhopa, an influencer, documented her egg freezing journey, encouraging other young women to do the same

Beyond the moral issues with IVF, the push for women to freeze their eggs is also a push for women to abandon traditional motherhood, prioritizing careers that will often leave them unfulfilled.

Feminism has convinced women to put motherhood last

Feminist propaganda glorifies women with careers while labelling mothers, especially stay-at-home moms, as overrun and oppressed. Motherhood is characterized as a second-class calling, one that should only be pursued after a professional career and should never take priority in a woman’s life.

Furthermore, research papers assert that motherhood will destroy a mother’s career and that parenthood is “terrible for quality of life.”

As a result, Gen Z women are hopelessly chasing happiness in the form of office jobs, corporate positions, or even entrepreneur endeavors but discovering that each is as unfulfilling as the last.

On social media, a growing number of couple influencers label themselves as “DINKs” (double income no kids). These influencers glorify their lavish lifestyle of eating out, vacationing, and traveling without the responsibility of children.

However, this lifestyle was recently challenged by Catholic podcaster Candace Owens, who defended motherhood against 20 feminists during an episode of the YouTube show “Surrounded.”  Owens, in addition to hosting a successful podcast, is a mother to four children. During the debate, Owens argued that raising children is more fulfilling than any career, pointing out that each of her children bring her more joy than any of her other accomplishments.

“I think that raising children is the most important job in the world, and it’s more fulfilling than any career you could ever have. I’ve never met a woman who, on her deathbed, said, ‘I wish I spent more time in the office.’ But I’ve heard countless women say they wish they spent more time with their kids,” Owens explained.

“The idea that a career is the pinnacle of a woman’s life is a lie sold by feminism,” she continued. “Raising children shapes the future of society, and that legacy is unmatched by any corporate achievement.”

Owens explained that motherhood is molding the future generation and developing the future of the world, saying, “When you’re raising a child, you’re building a human being, their values, their character. No boardroom success compares to the impact of seeing your child grow into a good person.”

Furthermore, while feminist influencers loudly tout the reasons why they do not want children, many young Conservative women are embracing motherhood and encouraging others to do the same.

Last month, professional swimmer Riley Gaines, who advocates to keep women’s sports safe from gender-confused males, announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child in September.

Additionally, Conservative YouTube personality Brett Cooper announced her pregnancy while on tour in Phoenix. Similarly, Dutch political commentator, lawyer, and activist Eva Vlaardingerbroek gave birth to her first child in December.

Earlier this year, photos of White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt caring for her young son while working at the White House went viral on social media.

Each of these Gen Z women broke stereotypes teaching women that motherhood will limit them, instead proving that motherhood brings an unparalleled joy and the only limits on a woman’s potential are enforced by feminism itself.

While it may seem daunting to embrace motherhood, especially in a culture saturated in feminist propaganda, Canadian phycologist Jordan Peterson revealed that “having kids is like a transcendent act of voluntary sacrifice. You’re betting on the future, and you’re betting on someone else’s future, and it’s a profound responsibility.”

“It’s also a way of finding meaning in life that’s deeper than anything you’ll find in a career or anything else,” he declared.
